Why we started this service
After years of unreliable pickups, surge-priced airports and strangers packed into shared vans, we decided there had to be a better way for local travel in Southern California. Premium Tesla Taxi was created to give busy professionals, families and visitors a simple, calm alternative: a quiet electric car, a known driver and a fair fixed fare.
We focus on the routes we know best — Orange County to LAX, John Wayne Airport pickups, San Diego airport transfers, daily commutes and local errands around Mission Viejo, Irvine, Newport Beach and beyond.

The questions we're asked most often before a first booking.
Which airports do you serve, and how does the pickup work?
We cover John Wayne (SNA), LAX, San Diego (SAN), Long Beach (LGB) and Ontario (ONT). Give us your flight number when you book and we track the arrival, so a delayed inbound simply moves your pickup time at no extra cost. For domestic terminals we meet you at the arrivals curb once you have your bags; for international arrivals we park and meet you inside with a name sign, because customs timing is impossible to judge from outside. Free waiting time is included on every arriving flight, and any airport surcharge is already inside the fare you approved.
How is my price worked out, and can it change afterwards?
Your fare is calculated from the real driving route between the two addresses you enter — distance plus expected drive time — and then locked. There is no meter, no surge multiplier at 4 a.m., no traffic surcharge, no booking fee and no cleaning fee. Standard tolls and a short waiting allowance are already included. The only things that alter the total are extras you pick yourself, such as a child seat or an extra stop, and each is priced clearly before you confirm the booking.
Which areas do you cover?
Orange County is home: Mission Viejo, Irvine, Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Anaheim, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Santa Ana and Tustin. From there we run regularly into Los Angeles and San Diego, including downtown LA, Santa Monica, Pasadena, La Jolla, Del Mar and Carlsbad. Each area has its own page with local routes and drive times, and if your pickup or drop-off sits just outside those lists, send it over — the calculator prices any address the map can reach.
Do I get the same car and driver every time?
Yes. This is an owner-operated service with one blue Tesla Model Y, so the person who answers your message is the person who drives you. Nothing gets reassigned to a stranger at the last minute and no booking is cancelled because a busier fare appeared. The car is cleaned between rides rather than between shifts, a certified child seat and rear-facing infant seat travel with it, and the trunk plus front trunk take four large checked bags comfortably.
Can I book in advance, and what if I need to cancel?
Book weeks ahead or the same day — most same-day rides reach you in about thirty minutes. Because there is a single car, a confirmed slot is a genuine reservation: it disappears from the calendar for everyone else and we keep at least thirty minutes between rides. Cancelling is always possible. Before the driver starts live tracking it is completely free and anything paid online is refunded in full. After that you can still cancel, but the full fare is charged. The same rule applies to cash, Zelle and card.
How do I pay?
Card is preferred: pay securely online through Square when you book, or by card in the car. Cash is accepted too, and Zelle, Venmo or PayPal on request. For cash rides please confirm 30–60 minutes before pickup. Cash/Zelle discounts are displayed before booking, and a branded PDF receipt with the full itinerary is emailed to you after every completed trip, which is handy if you are claiming the journey on expenses.
